Italian Stock Exchange

Italy's primary stock exchange, now part of the Euronext group, serving Italian and international markets.

Borsa Italiana was established in 1808 and became part of the London Stock Exchange Group in 2007, before being acquired by Euronext in 2021. The exchange operates multiple market segments including the main MTA (Mercato Telematico Azionario) market, AIM Italia for smaller companies, and specialized segments for bonds and derivatives. Borsa Italiana lists major Italian corporations and provides access to Italian capital markets for international investors. The exchange operates the FTSE MIB index and uses the same Optiq trading platform as other Euronext markets. Settlement services are provided through Monte Titoli, and the exchange supports trading from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM CET.
