Brasil Bolsa Balcão

Brazil's main stock exchange formed through merger, serving as Latin America's largest securities market.

B3 was created in 2017 through the merger of BM&F Bovespa and Cetip, creating an integrated exchange for equities, derivatives, fixed income, and over-the-counter markets. The exchange lists over 350 companies and operates the Ibovespa index, Brazil's main stock market benchmark. B3 provides a comprehensive platform covering securities trading, clearing, settlement, and depositories. The exchange has implemented various corporate governance levels (Novo Mercado) to improve market standards and attract international investment. B3 operates from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM BRT and provides electronic trading through the PUMA platform. The exchange plays a crucial role in Brazilian capital markets and serves as a gateway for international investment in Latin America.
